Mulching Tender – Southern Cape

We invite you to be a part of a significant clearing for planting project of approximately 3 000 ha. The project is in the Southern Cape covering areas in the Buffelsnek, Homtini and Jonkersberg plantations. Maps detailing the specific areas and compartment sizes are available please email the foresters below for more detailed information.

Key Information:

• Quote on any or all the areas; pricing per hectare or per compartment.
• Timeline and production rate to be discussed and agreed before award of tender.
• The quality of the mulching must allow for access to replant; clean floor not required
• Site visits: coordinate with the forester in the week of 13 April 2026.
• Jonkersberg: 13 – 15 April
• Buffelsnek   : 16 and 17 April
• PRICING: Quotes to be submitted at a wet rate. However, due to the diesel volatility, pricing on a dry rate basis will also be considered.
• Closing date for quotes/pricing: 30 April 2026
